Swish – albwm gyntaf Omaloma.

Ers ffurfio yn Nyffryn Conwy yn 2015, mae pop synth seicadelig Omaloma wedi creu argraff yng Nghymru ac yn rhywngwladol. Yn dilyn rhyddhau eu sengl llwyddiannus 'Walk the Dog', bydd Omaloma yn rhyddhau eu halbym cyntaf 'Swish' ar Recordiau Cae Gwyn 03.04. Mae’r band wedi chwarae gŵyl Latitude ddwywaith, yn ogystal â Gŵyl y Dyn Gwyrdd a Gŵyl Rhif 6. Yn 2018, cenfogodd y band Gwenno ar ei thaith o gwmpas y Deyrnas Unedig. Hyd at heddiw, Omaloma yw’r unig fand i gael eu dewis fel artist y mis BBC Introducing, ddwywaith. Maent wedi derbyn cefnogaeth gan Huw Stephens ar BBC Radio 1, yn ogystal â chael eu chwarae ar raglenni Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft, Gideon Coe a Tom Robinson ar BBC 6 Music.

Cafodd y sengl ei recordio a’i gynhyrchu gan Llŷr Pari yn Stiwdio Glan Llyn, Melin y Coed.

Swish, the much anticipated Omaloma debut album, released 3rd April 2020.

Formed in the Conwy valley during 2015, Omaloma’s synth tinged psychedelic pop won instant appeal in Wales and beyond. The band have graced the Latitude festival twice, as well as Green Man and Festival Number 6. In 2018 the band supported Gwenno on her UK tour. To this date they are the only Welsh act to be twice named BBC Introducing artist of the month. Huw Stephens has championed them on BBC Radio 1, whilst 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne, Tom Ravenscroft, Gideon Coe and Tom Robinson have all played the band.

Recorded and produced by Llŷr Pari at Glan Llyn Studio, Melin y Coed.

Omaloma feature a stellar live line up, with band members also playing with the likes of Cate le Bon, Gwenno, Y Niwl, Sen Segur, Bitw and Eitha Tal Franco:
